Battle Skills & Attacks

Above ground

• Has the same attacks as Giant Spider.
• Leans back, pulls claws in slightly, and then jumps up into the air, landing on the player.
• Burrows underground. May damage nearby players.
• Spawns multiple Queen's Soldier Spiders from abdomen. Doesn't appear to deal damage.

Burrowed

• Emerges onto surface. May damage nearby players.
• Strikes in a long line along the ground with claws.
• Pops up with an instant strike, strikes again, then returns underground.
• Pops up, swipes left claw to the right, then returns underground.

Tips & Advice

• Regular knockdowns only last a couple seconds.
• Spawned spiders should be dealt with when possible to keep from being overwhelmed.
• Having 2 people use chain hooks constantly greatly simplifies the fight.
• Maintain your distance when the Spider Queen burrows. This will cause her to re-emerge to the surface. If you stay near the Queen, she will come up only to attack and re-burrow itself.

Additional Notes

• The equipment dropped can be of 2* or 5* quality. Only the Boots, Helm and Gauntlets can be of 5* quality.
• The Spider Queen is defined as "a white hand that bursts from the ground and drags people under".
• The Queen went to honor, mourn, and comfort her son, Wenshardt, who was buried in Ainle. She had wept for his loss.
• Nyle says that even if the Queen is defeated, she will return eventually.
• Clodagh asks if the Spider or the one wearing Spider Armor will win if the two fought each other. However, Brynn says that many who have worn Spider Armor have fallen to Giant Spiders. He remarks that the stronger one will succeed regardless of who fights who.
