The people of this town are a little oversensitive as of late. You can't even SAY the word gnolls without finding yourself in the middle of a pitchfork mob. Kirstie There is a playground near the ruins where people don't usually go, let alone children. However, there are some non-human children that frequent the are quite regularly. It's rather unsafe, but I'm afraid I'm not up to speed on my gnollish parenting customs. [[File:{{{npc}}} (NPC Icon).png|text-bottom|35px]] [[{{{npc}}}]] You learned about battle: A Toad on the Playground Kirstie I would usually deal with this sort of threat myself, but... It's a toad. (A flash of red flushes across Kirstie's cheeks.) I-I can't stand the sight of them. I find myself frozen in fear, locked into an impossible battle of wills with their grotesque mutant eyes... (You try to hold back your laughter.) It's no laughing matter! Those children are in danger while I stand here paralyzed by an idiotic fear that I can't overcome! Please, Playername. You don't have to kill the beast, but at least drive it away.

Drive off the Toad in Battle Quest A Toad on the Playground and return to Kirstie. Return after completing battle quest A Toad on the Playground.

Let Kirstie know that you dealt with the Toad during Battle Quest A Toad on the Playground. Kirstie How were the children? Oh, who am I kidding, the little rascals snuck into town just before you arrived to tell me how great you were. It was incredibly dangerous and stupid thing to do, but you know how kids are. It may have been a trick of the light, but I could of sworn they were all red for some reason... Player Choice: Tiny Gnoll Chief (A sly grin crosses Kirstie's face.) That would explain it. They must have dressed up like the Gnoll Chieftain to scare off that toad. Well, I think you should have some of the... bounty they left behind. (Kirstie rummages through a sack at her side.) It's not much, but you might get a kick out of it. Maybe they'll take you back to your childhood!
