Area 1 - Path 1: A guaranteed Wisp spawns upon attempting to walk past the ledge with the archer tower.
This Wisp will not spawn if the player jumps down from the tower ledge and immediately proceeds.
Area 1 - Path 2: An Erg Pot can be found just before the exit on the left. It's behind some rubble up a flight of stairs.
A Wisp will spawn upon approaching the Erg Pot.
This battle is very easily soloed, even at low level, by leading Embermain back through the passage with the spiked rollers. Embermain will be caught in one, making it very easy to throw in extra hits, while keeping him down. However, if he dies under a roller it may be difficult to retrieve some drops.
