What?[ | ]
This is the ultimate guide for everything you need to know about mining in Vindictus. This guide is still a work in progress. Due to the random selection, there are still some levels I have not encountered yet. This guide will be updated when I find those. Also, I am currently collecting data about the drop rates for the different types of ores. This needs much more data before it is reliable.
Also, I realize that this guide doesn't look very good when the pictures wrap around because the screen is not wide enough. Increase screen resolution and change the site skin to something wider to display this guide correctly.
Why?[ | ]
There are three reasons you should learn how to mine in Vindictus.
1. The Ores(obviously)
Mining gives you Iron Ore, Fine Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Silver Ore, Gold Ore, Superior Iron Ore and Exquisite Iron Ore.
These ores are used in a some quests and many crafting recipes. Ores are especially
useful for crafting weapons and heavy armor (and probably plate armor too).
2. Titles There are currently three titles that require mining. They are:
Iron Ore Miner (Mine 10 ores) +1 Intelligence
Silver Ore Miner (Mine 100 ores) +1 Intelligence
Gold Ore Miner (Mine 500 ores) +1 Intelligence
3. BP
Several battles have bonus missions that require mining.
How?[ | ]
Now that you are convinced that mining is useful, it is time to learn how to mine. This is a Mine Bomb, it is the tool you will use to mine ores.
This is the ore. It can be found in many dungeons in Vindictus.
Now mining has three steps.
1. Aim the mine bomb at the ore.
2. Throw it and watch it explode.
3. Gather the ores that appear.
Where?[ | ]
Now that you know how to mine, you probably want to know where all these ores are. Below is a list of all the dungeons and the places where you will find ore. Each mining spot is marked by a number of how many ores are at that location. The numbers in Perilous Ruins and Horefrost Holllow should be exact, but the numbers in Ainle can vary by plus or minus one.
