Battle Skills & Attacks[ | ]
- Signature attack : Revving his chainsaw, the chainsaw will start flashing. This attack has 2 variants:
- After revving his chainsaw, Masaka releases a line of razor-blade wind.
- After revving his chainsaw, Masaka roars, knocking back all players around him, he will rev his chainsaw some more before releases multiple waves of razor-blade wind, dealing massive damage.
- This attack can be interrupted by attacking Masaka while he's revving his chainsaw.
- Very large AoE
- There is one final wave of damage that comes after that will likely finish off any life-flared players.
- Flies up, swoops down and quickly charges toward player.
- Deals damage around him when he flies up.
- Back flips, then charges toward a player.
- Charges toward a player.
- Turns around and slashes.
Tips & Advice[ | ]
- How to interrupt the AoE attack:
- For range characters: this fight should be easy, just stay far enough so you won't get hit by the roar.
- For melee characters: when Masaka starts revving his chainsaw, try to hit him a few times, then pull back (to avoid getting hit by the roar). If he roars, get in and hit him. If not, get ready to dodge the line AoE.
- Certain smashes are better at interrupting the AoE than others, i.e Tumult Blade and Avalanche for Vella.
- Avoid the knock back roar at all costs, if you fail to interrupt the AoE, you can still dash behind Masaka when he strikes.
Additional Notes[ | ]
- The name can be taken as Crazy Massacre, based on the weapon of this boss (Chainsaw ), and the name, could be a reference to the movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
