Uses a Mercury Trap Kit, provided it is assigned to an alchemy box quick slot, to set up a mercury trap. This sticky prison can ensnare many an unsuspecting enemy, but it may not effect flying enemies or ones that particularly strong.

- This skill has a base bind time and receives additional bind time per rank.
- Small mobs and small bosses are usually affected, while large and huge bosses can ignore the Mercury Trap completely. Some bosses are able to escape from the Mercury Trap sooner than the actual bind time. Some bosses may also jump out of the Mercury Trap before the bind time is over.
- Evie is able to carry 12 Alchemy Kit: Mercury Trap in the Alchemy Box. Only one Mercury Trap may be deployed at a time. If a second Mercury Trap is placed while the first one is still active, the first one will disappear.
