Talk to Clodagh at the General Store.

Talk to Clodagh. Tieve Clodagh may I speak with you? Clodagh Hi. Tieve! Come on in, what are you up to? I just made the CUTEST dress! Tieve May I borrow a vase? Clodagh 'Of course you can. Oh-oh! Did you get some flowers? Did some handsome gentleman come courting? You have to tell me if he did. Tieve Oh, no. I have a few leftover flowers from... Well, from visiting Wenshardt's Grave. Clodagh 'What?! That place is dangerous! I've told you so many not go out there. Tieve 'I wanted to be alone...Wenshardt was always nervous around other people. Clodagh .... (You try to remain quiet as Clodagh grabs a vase from the corner of the room and jabs it into Tieve's hands.) Clodagh Take it. But be more careful! I don't know what I'd do if I lost you. Everybody else here is such a bore! Tieve Thank you, Clodagh. Clodagh Sure, sure. Just bring it back later. (Tieve leaves with the vase and you clear your throat. Clodagh jumps when she sees you.) Clodagh I forgot you were still here! I can't believe she's still so torn up about Wenshardt! Wenshardt? Clodagh The huge white spider that you...nobody blames you for that, Playername. You saved the town. I just think Tieve misses the big guy. She was the only one in town that really knew him. Hey! That's it! What if we found ANOTHER spider?! Then she'd have a new pet to take care of AND our town could have a new guardian! Win, win! It might liven things up around here too. People would love it if we found one with beautiful fur and pretty blue eyes. But I don't know where you'd find another giant spider. It's not like they're just wandering around town. Maybe Tieve would know! She's knew Wenshardt the best! Would you go and ask her?

Talk to Tieve. Tieve (Tieve's eyes grow wistful when you ask about Wenshardt.) Sweet Wenshardt, he guarded our town with all of his heart. Everybody thinks I brought him here on purpose, but he actually came here on his own. I found him on the road, wandering towards our town. He came right up to me and let me pet his head. The next day, he was patrolling the area, watching over us like we were his family. His...end was very hard for us all. I can't imagine the pain he must have felt when he was forced to attack us. He told me many times how much he loved our village. It was his home. He used to tell me stories about his home, the spiders there were tough and hated humans You received information on battle: An Ancient Race. He warned me never to go there. The spiders there were powerful and ruthless. "Watch out for the red and yellow stripes. Only the white are to be trusted," he would tell me. But I don't think any of them could be a loyal and kind as Wenshardt. He was really one of a kind.

Tieve may have warned you of the danger, but you will need to survive Battle Quest An Ancient Race and speak to Clodagh.

Complete Battle Quest An Ancient Race. Talk to Clodagh. Clodagh 'You found another Giant Spider?! What happened?! Did you bring it back to town? This is going to be so cool! (You explain what happened.) Oh, well maybe that wasn't such a great plan after all. But it's the thought that counts, right? I mean, who but Tieve would be able to buddy-up with a spider? Thanks for trying, though. I know it would mean a lot to Tieve if she knew. Don't worry, we'll find a way to cheer her up!
