Burning coals, a paring knife, bury you in an ant hill... (Esyllt crumples the note.) What an idiot! We could've had that treasure already if he wasn't off being Mr. Hero. Asher Esyllt, you're not fooling anyone. You look super relieved! Esyllt I'm relieved that he's going to kill you if you leave me here with all this paperwork. Asher O-oh... Kean I thought I saw you coming from the docks, <Lynn>. Any news? (Esyllt shows him Tristan's note.) Your leader uses a large number of swear words. It sounds like the two of you have things under control. I'll send word to hold off on reinforcements for now. I kind of want to see how this thing plays out. Esyllt That's the right decision. Talk to Miller. Miller (Milo stands next to a very plucky looking young siren.) Let me introduce you to my good friend, Rhea. Rhea Good to meet you, human! You sure are juicy-looking, like your friend. Miller Eh, eh-hehe... Juicy, yes... Rhea, why don't you tell <Lynn> what you saw? Rhea Okay, my adorable little human. It was only a short time ago. A beautiful human vessel came to us as my sisters and I sang. I strained to get a better look at it as it got closer, hoping for a glimpse of the shiny treasures it surely held. But then it got close, and everything went crazy! My sisters became wild, shrieking at the wind! Pirates and sailors rose from the dead! The great Mare grabbed something black and hurled it into the mother sea. It was all very scary. Now my sisters don't sing. And when they do not sing, the devil awakens... Miller That did not sound any better the second time... Do you think Rhea saw the same boat that Kean was trying to find? I think the key to all of this is the one they call Slithering Mare. If you can find the thing she threw into the water, maybe you can put a stop to all this bad ju-ju.
