It stabs forward once
It stabs forward once, twirls, then stabs forward again
It slashes/stabs forward, then stabs again in any direction (No turning animation, stabs instantly)
It bends forward and then slashes while doing a 180 degree turn to face you (he only does this if you are behind him)

Simply wait for it to stab twice, which is easily telegraphed by the twirling animation and hit him from behind, followed by dodging backwards to avoid the 180 degree attack.
Be very careful not to get hit by the instant turn stab, even if you are behind him he can instantly turn and stab you when he uses this attack, without any turning animation to warn you.
Fiona can counter each hit in all of the Red Bearer's combos.
