Quest-Only Drops[edit]

Battle Skills & Attacks[edit]

Phase 1:

  • 1 or 2 Melee strikes with her staff.
  • Infuses red energy into her staff, does an overhead strike followed by a frontal staff swing.
    • The energy infused staff has more reach than its normal form.
  • Casts a line of AoE explosions in front of herself.
    • She will get dizzy after using this move.
  • Disappears, reappears either behind or in front of a player, then follows up with 1 of the following moves:
    • 1 or 2 hit red infused strike.
    • Line of AoE explosions.
  • Plants her staff on the ground, channels energy while a bloody mist surrounds her. After a brief moment, she releases an AoE.
    • Can be interupted by dealing damage to Iset.
    • Iset will get dizzy for a short time after using this move.
  • Summons up to 3 of The Sand Pillar.
    • The Sand Pillars have hp, and will slowly melt down reveal a Guardian Soldier inside. If the player lets them live, they will use an AoE attack depending on how many Guardian Soldier(s) survive:
      • 3 : Each releases a ground AoE, and leaves a pool of sand.
      • 2 : Releases 2 ground AoEs.
      • 1 : Very small AoE attack, leaves a pool of sand.
      • Guardian Soldiers perish after they use their attacks.
      • The ground AoE can be dodged by jumping.
      • The pool of sand will slow and damage any players sting in them.
    • The pillars will deal damage to players near their locations when they begin rising.
  • When Iset has 4 Health bars left, she will run away. Phase 2 will begin after you reach the next area.

Phase 2:

  • Melee strikes with her staff.
  • Same energy infusing attack as Phase 1.
  • Disappears, reappears behind or in front of a player and attacks.
    • If the player ends up underneath where Iset teleports, they may be hit for extremely high damage which will usually life flare or kill the player. This can be avoided by standing still when Iset teleports, and dodging at the last moment when she appears.
  • Casts multiple fireballs at players, which have an AoE explosion when they hit the ground.
    • Has limited range.
  • Marks the ground in front of her with multiple red circles, then jumps back. The marked areas then explode.
    • The pattern is 1 circle in front of her follow by 3 lines of circles.
  • Calls out for Havan's help, the screen will flash red, there are 2 patterns for Havan:
    • Havan lifts and brings down his hand, releasing a map-wide AoE.
      • This will usually be done once with each hand.
      • Iset will only use text once at the beginning to call for Havan to do this attack. After that, Havan will do this attack without further orders from Iset.
      • Iset will continue to attack while Havan is using this attack. (although she will disappear the first time Havan uses this attack)
    • He will breathe out streams of razor sharp wind.
      • There are 3 patterns of this attack:
        • Multiple line streams that form a rectangle shape, fully covering the middle of the field, large areas in the left and right side are safe.
        • Multiple line streams that spread out, forming a fan-shape, small spaces between the streams, a fairly large areas in the left and right side are safe.
        • Multiple line streams that spread out even larger, forming a fan-shape, large spaces between the streams, small areas in the left and right side are safe.
      • Iset will stand still and start taunting moments before Havan attacks, she then disappears when Havan begins this attack.
      • His body will start moving, and you will see him lift his hands up and down when he's about to do this move.
      • The safe areas for this attack are near Havan's hands. Near but not close up to his hand, as 1 of the 2 patterns can hit close to his hands.

Tips & Advice[edit]

  • Iset phase 1 is affected by Active: Clipped Wings, it make all her animations extremely slow, especially when she get dizzy.
  • In phase 2, if Iset reaapear on top of a player and do the 1 hit strike, it's an instant-kill, try to move around constantly when Iset dissapear to avoid this.
  • Sword Vella can Backlash the fire balls in phase 2 back at Iset, which will protect teammates from harm.
    • Look where your teammates are to predict and try to backlash as many fireballs as possible.
  • Standing very close to Iset while she's using the fireball attack could result in fireballs hitting the players and no fireballs being shot out.
  • If you are standing close to each other when Iset disappears, spread out and get ready to dodge.
  • When the staircase begins rising after Iset runs away in phase 1, incapacitated party members or pets will block the staircase from rising if they're on top of them.
  • In phase 2 (when Havan slams the ground and release the AoE wave) the wave can be dodged using a dodge that has invulnerability frames, like Sword Lann's Slip Dash (instead of jumping)
